I bought this blanket to replace an old one. I thought with all the extras it would be great, but not so much. It has 4 different zones, 2 for feet and 2 for upper body so you can control where you want it, but it really didn't get very hot even on the highest setting and it would turn off all by itself in one zone

I purchased my Aldi queen size electric blanket in June to replace an old KMart one and I`m more than impressed.
Best feature is a sleep timer so if you forget it automatically shuts off. It can be set for hourly increments and also has 4 different zones for you and your partner.
Easy to fit as well.
One great feature is being able to only warm your feet and I do suffer from cold feet in the early hours of the morning. I pop it on about 5 (heat setting varies between 1 and 9) and I set if for an hour and it`s perfect.
Pricewise it was ...
Read more around $50 and is a little ripper (I try to avoid the word "awesome" as people are often too dumb or limited in vocabulary to use any other descriptive words) Well worth the money and for what I paid if I get 5 years out of it I consider I`ve had my money`s worth. Solid 5 out of 5 !

Bought this Fitted Electric blanket last year which has two controllers and 2 way settings for Upper body and lower body. Plus it has temperature settings so you can control the heat setting as per your preference for your side. This blanket fits quite nicely on my king bed and warms up in 10 minutes. Good quality blanket with lots of features.

Very happy with this purchase for my kids bedroom. Cheap and cheerful Aldi offering and what appears to be a well made and quality product. Separate zones for heating upper or lower body and a handy timer on each side are included in this particular design. I'd definitely buy another one should they come around again next season. Hopefully they will offer them in King size as Queen appeared to be all that was available at my local.

Bought the electric blanket from Aldi; fiddled around with the settings before I could literally 'set and forget'. I really the convenience of setting the blanket temperature and timer and then forgetting about it; is wonderfully warm when I get into bed at night and slowly turns itself off ....

I like the fact that you can change heat setting for upper body & lower. The skirt design is great too, meaning if fits in same way as a fitted sheet, much easier than having to tie it.
But I'm disappointed in the heat settings. There's 9 settings and if you want real warmth you have to have it on 9, and I have had electric blankets in the past that are much warmer on the highest setting

When we first got this we thought we might never be warm, even nearly took it off and returned it. The instructions said to use the hottest setting (9) once for a few hours and then never to use it again because it could burn. We now use 9 every night before getting into bed to warm it enough - anything less is just lukewarm. Still need a blanket over the top on cold nights but it does an ok job, wouldn't buy it again.

Bought on of these Easy Home electric blankets from Aldi about 6 weeks ago
Put it on yesterday and it went bang, controller now smells like burning and won't turn back on
Something has failed!
Will be taking it back this week to see what they say.
Looking back at other forums for previous ALDI blankets sold under the Lumina brand. They have recalled all of these in previous years,
it would seen they still are having the same issues with this new release under Easy Home
Edit. No hassle when I went to return. Full refund given even though I couldn't find the receipt.

Really like this blanket
- 2 separate heating zones which means I can choose a different temperature for my feet from the body
- 9 temperature settings (up to 40 degrees)
- timer settings, from 1-9 hours. Means I can preheat the bed and ensure it doesn't overheat by staying on too long
- lower price than other brands I have tried, while having more features

Enjoying this electric blanket as can set how long you want it on for - 1 hour, 2 hours. Not less than 1 hour though.
I like that you can wash it. The plastic box I hardly notice - mostly when getting into bed. Have had it about month now.

Purchased this EasyHome King Electric Blanket from Aldi in Ballarat approximately 1 month ago now and it has been working very well. It is easy to use and a nice surprise are the 2 settings ranging from 1-9 for feet and 1-9 for body. 2 controllers are fitted to enable each person to set their own adjustment. The only issue with this blanket is the connector which connects the controller to the physical blanket. It is located approximately 50cm's from the top of the bed and is a plastic box approximately 4cm's by 8cm's. The box is always in the...
Read more way as it sits on top of the mattress rather than on the side of it, this means I am endlessly digging my elbow or arm into it during the night. If I knew this was going to be an issue I am not sure I would buy this one again but for around $60 it is very reasonable.

This electric blanket goes under the fitted sheet on our kind size bed. It has dual controls and each control has separate temperature settings and a top and bottom only mode as well as the whole side. I like warm feet but my torso is fine. My wife likes it pumped up a bit. So we are both happy. It seems to be very good quality and the price was $49.95.

My neighbour has owned one for 2 years without fault. I purchased one this week after my $45 Kmart blanket failed within 3 weeks of purchase. For $10 more the Aldi blanket looks to be a higher quality fleece and material. Led backlit controller, 9 heat settings with individual zoning for body and feet on both sides of the bed.
Very happy with this product.

last night as i switched it to low, it blew up with a loud bang, and all the lights went out followed by a bad electrical burning smell, found out it was the subject of a recall, shop at aldi every week, never saw a notice saying the recall extended to every blanket they ever sold....never again, glad i wasnt electrocuted!

We've had this for just under 12mths and never really had any issues with it until last night about 1.30am when my wife wakes me screaming that the bed was on fire, with flames about 7 inches high!! We are lucky to have woken up and put out the flames, though I've now got serious burns to my right forearm & we now need a new mattress and sheets. DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP JUNK IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE AND HOUSE!!! We will be chasing ALDI down for compensation and writing to the ACCC & Choice Magazine. The fault is obvious in the wiring between the contr...

Great cheap electric blanket, would buy again.
No problems, have used it for 4 winters.
Cheap, dual controls, fitted, warms nicely.
The control electric connection base is located on the top close to where your shoulder may rest, but I've had no issues.
Would be perfect if it was machine washable!
Cheap, dual controls, fitted, warms nicely
